A modern surgical C-arm X-ray system has been installed at Daugavpils Regional Hospital

By expanding its range of medical technologies and improving the quality of patient care, Daugavpils Regional Hospital has installed a new high-precision surgical C-arm X-ray system manufactured by Primax International (Cyberbloc FP). The project has been implemented with the support of the Latvian Recovery and Resilience Facility plan and the European Union Cohesion Policy Programme for 2021–2027.

This system is a modern mobile fluoroscopy unit designed for a wide range of surgical procedures, providing high-quality real-time imaging. It enables physicians to accurately visualize the patient’s anatomical structures during surgery and perform necessary interventions with maximum precision.

The new system is equipped with a latest-generation flat panel detector, ensuring excellent image quality while reducing radiation exposure for both patients and medical staff. This is particularly important in modern medicine, where safety and diagnostic accuracy are equally critical factors.

Cyberbloc FP also stands out with its ergonomic and well-thought-out design, as it is easy to move and quickly position in the operating room. This significantly improves workflow efficiency and allows physicians to focus on the patient. The intuitive touchscreen control system and user-friendly interface ensure simple and efficient operation, reducing procedure time and increasing precision.

The system is suitable for a wide range of surgical applications, including orthopedics, urology, vascular surgery, and other fields where high-quality intraoperative imaging is required.

The introduction of this new technology represents an important step in the hospital’s development, enhancing the quality of healthcare services, improving patient safety, and providing modern working conditions for medical staff.
